ニセコエリアについて

ニセコというと倶知安町、ニセコ町、蘭越町からなる、ニセコアンヌプリ周辺の一帯を指すことが多いです。

ニセコアンヌプリという山にはアンヌプリ、東山（東山ビレッジ？）、ひらふ、花園という4つのスキーゲレンデというかスキーリゾートがあります。

これらはすべて山頂付近かもっと下の方でつながっており、共通パスを買ってどこにでも降りていくことが可能です。

共通パスを持っていれば巡回バスでこれらのゲレンデを行き来することもできます。

近年多くの外国人観光客が訪れるということで話題になる「ニセコ」は、主に「ひらふ」と「花園」を指しています。

アンヌプリ周辺には多少の飲食店がありますし、東山にはリゾート直営のようなショッピングモール？というかショッピングエリアがあります。ただし商業施設が多いのは「ひらふ」周辺です。

アンヌプリの中でも花園は隔離された場所です。高級ホテルと多少の建物しかありません。まだまだ開発中であり次々とホテルが建設されています。

このほかにもモイワ山という山にニセコモイワスキーリゾートがあります。アンヌプリと比較するとかなり小規模です。この周辺も近年開発が進んでいます。

“Niseko” is often used to refer to the area around Niseko Annupuri, which includes the towns of Kutchan, Niseko and Rankoshi.

Mt. Niseko Annupuri has four ski slopes or ski areas: Annupuri, Higashiyama (Higashiyama Village?), Hirafu and Hanazono.

These are all connected near the summit or further down, and it is possible to buy a common pass to descend to any of them.

If you have a ‘Niseko United All Mountain Lift Pass’, you can travel between these slopes on a shuttle bus.

Niseko, which has become a hot topic in recent years due to the large number of foreign tourists visiting, mainly refers to Hirafu and Hanazono.

There are some restaurants in the Annupuri area, and a resort-owned shopping mall in Higashiyama area. However, the majority of commercial facilities are around Hirafu.

Hanazono is an isolated place within the Annupuri area. There are few building and luxury hotels. The area is still developing and more hotels are being built.

There is also the Niseko Moiwa ski resort on a mountain called Moiwa Mountain. It is considerably smaller. This area has also been developed in recent years.
